[Announcement] Procurement of New AED Devices to Enhance Campus Emergency Medical Capacity
To continuously reinforce campus safety and emergency medical response capabilities, the University has recently installed four new AEDs (Automated External Defibrillators). This brings the total number of AEDs on campus to 15. The locations span key areas across the campus (please refer to the attached "National Chung Cheng University AED Map" for details) to enhance real-time rescue efficiency when sudden emergencies occur.
An AED is a critical piece of lifesaving equipment during sudden cardiac arrest. If deployed alongside CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) within the golden window of time, it can effectively improve patient survival rates. The complete installation of campus AED equipment will help build a safer, more reassuring learning and working environment, collectively safeguarding the lives and safety of all faculty, staff, and students.
