Tobacco Hazards Prevention Act has been Amended in Taiwan — All Smoking Areas on University Premises Terminated, Smoking Totally Banned on Campus

National Chung Cheng University campus is a smoke and tobacco-free environment. The smoke and tobacco free policy includes all CCU indoor and outdoor areas. The policy also prohibits other tobacco use, including vaping use.

Any violators will face a maximum fine of NT$10,000.

Individuals who smoke in the dormitory area and do not heed multiple reminders will be required to vacate the dormitory and will forfeit their eligibility for future accommodations.

We warmly invite all faculty, students, and staff to join us in embracing a smoke-free environment by adhering to the smoking ban. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated!
