l E-cigarettes, unapproved heated tobacco products, and related components are prohibited and considered illegal in Taiwan. Do NOT bring them into Taiwan.
l Individuals or businesses caught illegally importing these products may be subject to severe penalties. Offenders may face fines of up to NT$50 million. Travelers found carrying E-cigarettes or heated tobacco products into Taiwan may be fined between NT$50,000 and NT$5 million.
